Roset is a French company producing customized furniture, marketed in France under the two brands Ligne Roset and Cinna and internationally under the only Ligne Roset brand combining the collections of the two brands.
The company was founded in 1860 by Antoine Roset in Montagnieu and was originally specialized in the manufacture of curved wood for walking sticks and umbrellas. It was in 1936 that the company began to diversify and to offer furniture and upholstered seats.
Among the most famous pieces, the Togo headquarters, designed in 1973 by Michel Ducaroy.
The company works with contemporary designers such as Didier Gomez, Inga Sempé, Mauro Lipparini, Pascal Mourgue, Pierre Paulin, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec and Peter Maly. The company, headquartered in Briord (Ain), is represented by more than 700 Ligne Roset distributors, exclusive or multi-brand distributors in some 60 countries around the world. About forty of these outlets are integrated stores located mainly in France, Germany and Switzerland.
Roset is currently managed by the fourth and fifth generations of the same family since 1860.
