Mithé Espelt (1923-2020) is a major French ceramic artist who bequeathed us a remarkable collection of jewels, small mirrors and secret boxes. Very young, when the notoriety of success reaches out to her, she chooses the shade and decides not to sign her creations. Which is the reason why many indiscriminate observers have long attributed them to François Lembo, Georges Jouve or even Denise Gatard.
