Born in Marseille March 13, 1891, his father was an upholsterer Jean Honore Lebrun Street in Sainte-
Anne neighborhood. He moved to Paris in 1908 where he continues to study drawing painting and
sculpture. He participated in the First World War in rural Morocco, enlisted four years in the French army.
Baptistin Spade likes color and rich materials. He designed the furniture as well as lamps and carpets
models. It uses hangings and tapestries to lessen the severity of dark wood furniture designs. He uses
the raised gold lacquer smears as new materials. Finally, it is participating in its projects big names of
